Hi, I’m Maya. I’m from Bombay and I have an M.Arch I degree from YSoA. I also studied architectural history and urban studies at Brown. I care about social housing, adaptive reuse, vernacular construction, and postcolonial cities. I design spaces and objects that serve as the backdrop and equipment for lives well lived.
I’m currently a designer at Studio Giancarlo Valle. In the past, I’ve worked at Tatiana Bilbao Estudio, Andrew Berman Architect, Knoll, the Guggenheim Museum, and Wallpaper* Magazine.
